K_rinaa:
If you're catholic, then you can apply for any catholic school and will be eligible in phase 2B. You will need to submit baptism certificate as proof. Some schools will need only child, while some will need the parents. To play safe, you can submit both.Anyone Catholics applying for Catholic school? I'm applying for St Stephen's. That puts us in phase 2B right?
Do I bring my baptism certificate too, or just DS?
A gentle reminder to make copies of the necessary documents (NRICs, Immunisations, Baptism Certs etc) before registration as this saves you a lot of hassle running around the school to make copies, especially those who intend to make last minute withdrawals. -
Going for SJI Jr under 2B…any chances of a ballot? Living in wdlands and prob need a 1 way transport back…just hope the current provider doesnt stop going to wdlands…faced that issue when DS was in K2 in MK. Lucky grandparents in Yishun could channel him there every morning for the bus.

Definitely balloting. Based on past years stats, your chances will be about less than 50% for SC and no chance for SPR. -

Hi
I’m new to this group. Does anyone knows about Greendale Primary school punggol?
How is the school? Do they have Hindi in school? -
Hi there; my first time here need as much help with some quick answers pls:
Has TKPS always had a PVS? cos I've called 2 times in the beginning of the year and was told there was no such system, now i checked on the website they do; my daughters K1 teacher also said they had stopped for a few years previously, but now they seem to have opened up; what do i do if they say they have no more room for PV?
what are the chances of her getting to the school?
Note: both parents and child Singaporean and i think we fall under 2c .
Does anyone have a child int he school or any one associated to the school that can shed some light? :nailbite: -

Anyway it is too late for you now to do any pv because moe indicates at p2b for pv:
For a child whose parent has joined the primary school as a parent volunteer not later than 1 July 2015 and has given at least 40 hours of voluntary service to the school by 30 June 2016 - See more at: https://www.moe.gov.sg/admissions/prima ... uJUt0.dpuf
so already over. Unless you are referring to intake for 2018, then yeah still have time to do.
btw, PSG (parent support group) is different from parent volunteer for p1 reg. PSG consists of parents whose kids already in the school.
Alternative (still not too late) is to look at the primary schools u or your hub have studied in - and reg at p2A with the relevant documents (including evidence to show you were from that sch, like psle cert or report card, else quickly go MOE to retrieve these details)
