2016 P1 Registration Exercise for 2017 In-Take

I agree with #1 and 3...because I see these in my daughter. If I had the opportunity to put my son in an all boys' school, i feel he will be a confident and expressive person. Maybe, he may even have a higher self esteem of himself.
Some of my reasons for girls' schools, offhand:
1) girls from girls' schools seem more confident, less self-conscious and less inhibited with or without boys around
2) girls from girls' schools have this 'I am good' air and have better self-esteem
3) girls from girls' schools speak more eloquently and are more expressive
4) girls from girls' schools have more attractive personality
5) girls from girls' schools seem more 'high class'
6) I'd rather my daughter be a lesbian in her teen than get pregnant and has to stop schooling due to unwanted pregnancy -
Aiyo…all these talks about co-ed and single-gender schools make me confused. I wanted CHIJ OLQP for my DD1 (I have 3 daughters) but DD1 and DD2 told me "I want boys in my school!" Headache. Bringing DD1 to a co-ed school’s open house later. See if she will change her mind about that school or not.

Did you ask your girls why they prefer boys in their school ? -

I think it's normal for girls to want to go to co-ed schools because they mature earlier than boys and they start noticing boys from early age, even in K1/K2. :roll:Ruru:

On the contrary, most boys will prefer boys' schools as they haven't started to notice girls yet and they prefer to hang out with boys only. This will change only in secondary school. -

THanks Mummy_Ask ...ruhuasee:
Hi, anyone can help me...

https://www.moe.gov.sg/admissions/prima ... urong-East
2) looking at the Fuhua Primary school in this link.. why are the \"no. of children registered\" still shown as 0? Nobody registered so far? And i noticed most schools shown zero, except afew got numbers...
Thanks
For Fuhua Primary - Under Phase 2A1 (the phase for this week) '0' means no children has registered
THanks Mummy_ask!
Phase 2A(1) are for
(a) For a child whose parent is a former student of the primary school and who has joined the alumni association as a member not later than 30 June 2015.

only after then the remaining vancancy with be shared for Phase 2B & 2C (which 40 vacancy has been reserved already)
https://www.moe.gov.sg/admissions/prima ... urong-East
... i saw fuhua updates here..
so after phase 2A(2), 2B... the vacancies for phase 2C will be know on 22 JUL.... is there any where got show how many kids under phase 2C, 1km near Fuhua?
I am pondering whether to go for fuhua or yuhua? How do i judge which one has more chance if the no. of kids going for phase 2C is not know? -
Does anyone know how to view the current status of the vacancies?
eg.
this week is for phase 2A(2), does individual school display the current status of how many students are registering for today and tmr? -

Registration is tomorrow and Wed. Think MOE updates daily in the evenings.
If you want real time, you might have to be at the school or at least call them. -
Good evening to All, asking on behalf of a friend…
Lets say a parent registers her child under 2A2 and got into the school… But the parent decides to transfer the child out to another school in January (next year). The question is can it be done? Or must the child attend one full year first before she is allowed to be transferred out?
Thank you in advance.
