For phase 2B the result was out on the same day on the MOE website( last day of application). by result, I mean which schools will need to ballot and within which distance category. I think the same will apply to phase 2C.
You should know based on your distance if you are in the ballot. The date and time of ballot was already given at registration. Hope this helps. Wishing you and everyone else on this forum all the best. -
Out of curiosity , the balloting is computer ballot, or lucky draw box style? If the latter, do parents go fish out a number, or do principal or someone fish out the lucky winners? How Long does the process take?

For balloting, during P1 Registration :Out of curiosity , the balloting is computer ballot, or lucky draw box style? If the latter, do parents go fish out a number, or do principal or someone fish out the lucky winners?
How Long does the process take?
Balloting is not computerised balloting but like Toto, where a VIP (school staff, not parents) gets invited to go up the stage to turn & spin the golden cage very, very fast, then the ball that drop out of the cage (bearing a number, written on the ball itself ) belonging to that lucky child, gets balloted in.
Meanwhile, parents seated below the stage, nervous & praying very hard each time one ball roll out of the cage, their heart beat very fast : hoping that the ball belong to their child.
Some parents dare not even open their eyes, they just shut their eyes, keep praying in their hearts, their ears sharp & alert concentrating to hear what is the ball number being called out (announced) loudly, after it just roll out of the cage.
In their heart, they kept praying hard, \"Oh God, Please, Please, Please make my child's ball roll out, please ....\"
Those balls that remain inside the golden cage, din roll out : unlucky
Whole process last how long :
will depend on how many students are balloting.
More students, involved : longer time, to ballot
But for Secondary 1 Admission into popular Secondary schools, where your child (born 2010) is the 2ND batch to come under new AL Psle Banding system :
Yes, this is by computerised balloting, for P6 students sitting for psle 2022. By then, your child will be in P6. -
updates for RGPS (as of 2pm): all 102 vacancies filled

To confirm if your house is really within 1km from school of choice, call up MOE to check. The map states 1.02km but according to MOE, they say the place my friend stays is within 1km! My friend was so relieved to hear that! This year North View Primary School is so hot! Smart Parents avoid Northland Pri and Chongfu Primary. The up and coming school in Yishun, North View.

HIPS lor .. despite the limited seats for phase but the take up rate is slower than the initial 1st choice so i take my chance and try this school..ptb7476:
that;s why i changed my strategy .. go HIPS i think in the long run ... 2 years in temp location out of 6 years primary school education and my gal can go in phase 1 in 4 years time ... still worth doing it but just now my queue no is #63 think also will ballot already
Queue # has no bearing on your chances. It's for admin purpose. :heresmyfish:
u going to HIPS, MeeToh, SKG or NCPS?
meetoh and NCPS.. i dun dare to try .. the take up rate fierce ...skg not in my shortlist lolz
i know that number is admin but that will give rough idea how many already register..if everyday start #1 .. that means today i am # 63 add the 54 who register yesterday... so likely have to ballot already lolz -
eurostar:
i believe most parent location is priority.. if all the 1km are hot school .. what will you do..queue and ballot ? or move out of range to 1-2km ?tot most parent are a****le lolxxx
location is main priority for me...but thats me.
happy balloting and good luck!!! -

Only way to know if your application is successful is to check if balloting is required. Information on schools conducting balloting will be updated at the end of each registration phase. - See more at: https://www.moe.gov.sg/admissions/prima ... toAXS.dpuf
Then on 3rd Aug (next Wed), go to the school to witness their balloting. Else, you have to wait till you receive their letter (by normal post) the following week on the status of your application.
we can go to the school to see their balloting?hmmm...so scary...hahah... :slapshead: -
