Yes, some primary schools' Principal / VP, may be holding talks to parents at school premises in Term 4, to only affected 2009 born pupils (current 2016 P1s) : pioneering AL Psle batch, on what to expect, lying ahead.
Only to affected students, not to the entire school

Until MOE announces any concrete plans, any discussion is an exercise in futility.

Must make noise first before the whole thing is set in concrete and it is too late.

Don't think we'll be hearing anything official from them until Part 2 - DSA distinctive progs (of this \"twin package\") is ready for announcement. If there're any further tweaks, it'll have to be after those FGDs that grimm and phtthp mentioned.

I dunno if they would make any modifications, seriously. The new scoring system looks like some top scholar's brainchild.

I believe the seemingly simplistic scoring system was from someone who's smart at manipulating our S$NEER monetary policy band, someone who's very talented in stats, math permutations and combinations Above all, someone who firmly believes in the \"ESIAGS\" utopian motto and who takes OSC feedback seriously. Could also be a collective effort by a team of thinkers, or a big idea that was mooted by a great thinker but pieced together by a team of thinkers.

But certainly can't be from the incumbent. He doesn't sound convicted when he talks about it in Parl and on tv, like he knows it well enough to be able to defend and justify its technicalities sufficiently. He was only sworn in not along ago. Will he modify the system he's inherited?

Tigers will look at what Ox mom & dad going to do, follow them.
Ox mom & dad are going to be leaders for kiddy (Tigers, rabbits, dragon, snakes, etc.)


anyway, some primary schools like Principal of Red Swastika primary have already informed the affected 2016 P1 parents : to come down for a briefing in Term 3, on Saturday (27 August 2016), discuss more about the new AL PSLE Banding system (2021)
