Where do you get kampong eggs from?
For egg, DS eats kampong eggs while daddy and mummy eat the cheapest eggs available on the rack. -

Sea water is polluted with heavy metals. Therefore, salmon affected, including those fish oils. GNC salmon supplement more expensive becoz the source of salmon is more trusted. According to the GNC staff.
That was what I thought too. I remember big deep sea predator fish like shark and tuna tend to have higher mercury levels. So I was kind of surprised to hear salmon has high mercury as I believe most of the fresh salmon sold in the market is farmed.dimsum:
Just to share, I did some googling and this website categorises fish from highest mecury level to lowest mercury level. Hey, salmon is classified under lowest mecury level! Code fish is under lower mercury level.

Those cheaper fish oil or salmon, from unreliable sources, can have higher content of heavy metals. The price difference quite a lot. -

Do you go for low cholesterol, Vit E, Omega3-fortified eggs?

I bought from NTUC. I believe all major supermkts sell them. The packaging will indicate \"Kampong chicken eggs\". One brand is Chew's Eggs. Currently, I am residing overseas and I buy organic eggs.

Wife dared not take these lower cholesterol eggs with Vit E.
She worried about extra-chemical inside these eggs. Therefore, there are 2 kinds of eggs in the fridge. :celebrate:

I think same with other slimming methods, you have to constantly watch your diet. so far, I seen him not eating a lot now, since the stomach has been 'stapled'to be smaller. when he was young, the stomach has already been expanded (due to more feeding from young), so now that the stomach is smaller, he has to get used to eating smaller portion. and he cannot eat too fast, I dunno why. maybe can find out more from doctor?? :? sometimes, he has difficulty swallow too fast.smurf:
he is not vain, he is quite a laid back chap but because due to health, he has to go for the stomach binding. dun think that it's good to go for such operation, after the operation, he cannot eat a lot, tiny bowl of rice can make him full and he has to eat slowly.
Does it really work? Any side effects? If not, maybe I shud ask my DH to do it then as he's plumpy since a little kid. Now his mom is blaming me for not taking care of his precious son, although she's the one who didn't instill a healthy eating habbit into him during his childhood :x
(I should probably move this to the IL thread  ) -

 sorry for being presumptuous. Hope he is alright after the operation.

from what I know the bigger the fish, the higher the mercury content. shark is considered very big fish, that’s why the mercury content is higher…ngor fish is good for kids because it’s a ‘softer’kind of fish, meaning the meat is not as rough as some fish. batang is quite rough in texture…cod fish is also good, as it has omega-3…good for brain development…and the texture is ‘soft’’ not rough, suitable for kids to swallow…if you buy those rough meat fish, kids may have difficult in swallowing…

I took a lot of fish oils for many years. Memory very good.
The downside of good memory: find very hard to forget things.
What to do? How to forget things, esp. unpleasant things :?
