Does anyone knows what is the most efficient way to go to Woodlands from nygh? There are a couple of choices but I am not sure which is the most time-saving.

          Hi! Imp75,

To take bus service 961 - it may take up to 50-55 minutes OR to take MRT service to Newton station (NSL) and transfer to Tan Kah Kee station (DTL) - it may take up to 50-55 minutes too

Would like to ask experienced parents on DSA CO via Chinese Orchestra to NYGH, does mere participation in SYF suffice? If not, what else is required?

Maybe it will be good if your DD has grading certificate for the instrument that she’s playing?

Would like to ask experienced parents on DSA CO via Chinese Dance to NYGH. What is required? Heard that the chance is not that high. The school only chooses 1-3 out of the hundred of applicants. Is it true?

Perhaps it’s not what the school requires, but what kind of competition you are up against?

Between a lead dancer and a back row dancer, who do you think the school will choose?
Between a dancer with certification and one who doesn’t, who do you think the school will choose?
The child’s performance during audition probably plays an important part too…

But I’m just guessing here…only they themselves know the real selection criteria.

Also heard about the 1-3 CD girls nygh will choose out of the hundreds of applicants. Well nygh CD is really good so definitely they will choose the cream of the crop to be admitted via dsa.

Even in sports they only choose the best players they can find.

Hi. I would like to get in touch with any Sec 4 parent (2016), (even better if DD is doing AEP, though not necessary). Can PM me ? My DD is in Sec3 currently, and I am in need of help. Thanks

Any idea the minimum grading certificate required for DSA CCA via Chinese Orchestra?
