Oh… a friend of mine DD got 250 and did not get the CAT 3 lang offer… but another friend of mine DS got 252 and got the CAT3 lang offer…
i dont think that was a stray case of 250 and got CAT 3 offer… -
I think to be offered Cat 3 3rd Lang, you need to meet the min T-score as well as be good in both languages. As a guide, my DD got offered 3rd lang as she has 252, A* in both lang and distinction in HCL. Her friend who does not take CL but scored high 260s is not offered 3rd lang.

Hi
My gal has 252 and we stay in Kovan. Besides Cedar, there are not many girls’ school COP that are lower than her score.
Having a hard time choosing the school.
Thinking of SCGS but it is too far.
Anyone can advise. Thanks. -

ngemily, it would help if you specified if you are looking for IP school? Or are you ok to consider O level? If your child takes Chinese, she will also have a wider choice of schools as there are a number of SAP schools which could potentially be suitable.Hi

Hi all,
Outram Sec vs New Town vs Kent Ridge. Any feedback on these schools in terms of both academic and CCA?
And Nan Hua vs Crescent, any views too?
And (sorry for asking so many questions) does anyone have any experience with the MEP? Does it require alot of time outside the school curriculum hours?
:thankyou: -
Hi, I noticed the some cca for secondary schools are grouped according to gender. Like badminton for girls only, or basketball for boys only.. any special reason behind this? Why can't student choose according to interest?

Government budget and staff for cca are limited so school usually cant afford to have so many cca. With dropping student enrolment, it is also difficult to sustain a cca. -
Any indication on the COP for RGS this year? My Daughter scored 261 and I doubt it is good enough for RGS! Please advise. Thanks

I missed the open house for Dunman secondary school. Can anyone offer some insights about the school in terms of discipline, school culture, teachers’ dedication, students profile? Thanks in advance.
