Price increase - car park, electricity, s&c and now water
-

Err...blame it on SG50 and the slew of socialist perks that came with PG package, PIC, Jobs Credit, Workfare, SkillsFuture credits, etc.Seems like there is a spate of price increases recently - car parks, electricity tariffs, s&c charges and now water....
Why are prices increasing in the midst of economic downtown with increasing retrenchment and zero pay rises and bonuses?
Bo lui liao...don't empty our coffers...
Oh, and don't forget the reservoirs in Johor are drying up! -

I forsee prices of goods and services to increase. I am anticipating my daily cup of kopi to increase by more that 30% - because electricity to boil water increase, raw material price (water) increase, rental increase, transport of coffee beans increase…

The 30% water price increase corresponds to the 30% that did not voted for them in the last GESeems like there is a spate of price increases recently - car parks, electricity tariffs, s&c charges and now water....

rob peter to pay paul :imcool:[/quote]Yes, that's what our economists and financiers do every year, towards the end of each FY, they find ways and means to make the P&L look healthier! One good e.g. would be the increase in parking and ERP fees in Dec.

coe is low before GE...after that, it will increase. same goes for ERP and just about everything else. we are literally sucked dry. -

Every promises come with a price. It's in the fineprint (which I think was written in the invisible ink).
