As of current situation, ACS students have better chance to stay in ACS when they go to secondary as ACS will accept them no matter what. This will change a bit after MOE changed the rule recently whereby 20% of the seats will have to be allocated to outside students.

So far only less than 50% of SJIJ students can proceed to SJI secondary because of the high cut off points.

I know that ACS is quite holistic. Not sure about SJIJ.

And of course ACS is a christian school while SJIJ is a catholic school.

Hello, my husband is an old boy of ACSI (didn't study in any of the ACS primary school). If he signs up as alumni, does it qualify for Phase 2A1? ๐Ÿ™‚

You want to call up ACS OBA, to clarify ?

The Terms & Condition, are stated inside this Form, after pay $500 (for applicants above 25 year old) -

              Unfortunately no.

He had to study either in ACSP or ACSJ before. ACS is not a full school, so alumni of the secondary schools are not considered as alumni of the primary schools.

What are the difference between online registration and on-site registration? We will register under phase 2C.

                  Many thanks!

I guess the only difference would be the document verification part. For on-site registration, they will verify your documents first before they let you register. And you will have a real time update on how many applicants have registered before you.

The other difference is: online registration closes 1 day earlier.

Actually, I find online registration very troublesome. U need to ensure both parents have Singpass ready and 2FA as well. If any internet failure etc at the crucial time, thatโ€™s it. I wouldnโ€™t advise it unless u are currently located overseas or on work trip etc.

                        How about, another scenario ?

                        Example

Suppose a student had studied previously in ACS primary (Singapore), for three years, in (P1 to P3, lower primary).

At end of P3, after clearing 2 rounds of GEP tests :-
This Student was offered GEP, by MOE.
As this student prefer a SAP environment back then, so he transferred successfully to Catholic High Junior, for (P4 to P6, GEP) in 1990s, hence Left ACS primary.
His PSLE certificate showed that he graduated from Catholic High Junior years ago, but not from ACS primary.

Now, this student grew up, get married, have a son.

                        Question

This parent know that he can proceed to enrol his son under ex-student Phase 2A(2), into ACS (primary, Sg) : because he still have the report card, to prove that he was an ex-student, for three years (P1 to P3).

But, If he's thinking of enrolling his son under ACS alumni Phase 2A(1),
Will he still be able to do so, because his PSLE certificate showed that he didn't graduate in P6 from ACS (primary), but graduated from another school, (Catholic High) instead ?
(assuming that he doesn't mind paying $500 fees, to join ACS OLd boys association)

does joining alumni Phase 2A(1) means : on condition that, one must have graduated in PSLE, from that particular primary school (Sg)?

                        Thank you, for clarification.
