      Alanteo:
Just wonder in general, what is the proportion of people registering tomorrow as compare to today , is there any statistic?

Some people might have 2 schools to consider if at least 1 parent is from co-ed school, so they might want to see their chances after the first day is over.

      For example:
Mother is from SNGS and father is from Fairfield. If they only have girls, they might want to register in SNGS, but if the odds are against them, they might just go to Fairfield.

Those who register on the first day most probably don't have any other option, so no point waiting for second day.

We have updated our Phase 2A(2) analysis. It can be found https://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/article/2017-p1-registration-phase-2a2-analysis-and-predictions/. Essentially, NYPS is oversubscribed by 10 places, while NHPS has no more places left.

        There were more withdrawals today:
        Ahmad Ibrahim Primary (-2)
        Nanyang Primary (-1)
        Yu Neng Primary (-1)
        Radin Mas Primary (-1)
        St Gabriel’s Primary (-1)
        Changkat Primary (-1)
        Sembawang Primary (-1)
        Alexandra Primary (-1)

I’ll like to ask about the process for withdrawal. I understand that the parents need to go to the registered school to do the withdrawal using both their ics. How long does it take effect? Is it immediately once we withdraw at school A, we can straightaway go to school B to submit our application? Is it so straightforward? Is there any lag time?

We are about the same distance away. So Lexy, how do you arrange for transport in the pm? Schoolber? From what I understand, ATS does not provide bus transport to my side of the island. In any case, school bus is not my preferred option for such a long journey though my girl is perfectly happy taking the school bus to her kindy now. If confirm to go ahead with ATS, we will likely try out the daily commute first and if necessary, relocate.
we have a very good grandparent to help us send the kids back from school 😂

                Dear Lexy,
if based on the Onemap app, RMPS and Zhangde is within 1km, but RMPS is nearer. GES is within 2km.
we are worried the RMPS competition is high so need some advise for second plan 🙂
as this time is rabbit year, so most likely higher competition as what other parents has commented earlier.
                Thank you 🙂

This year look more likely to have balloting within 1km for RMPS, Zhangde looks fine for within 1km. You need to ask yourself your risk profile for balloting. - how much risk you can take. The sooner you know this, the clearer your plan can be.

                Dear lexy,
Yes i am sure it will have balloting within 1km for RMPS, so we will monitor and decide so will not risk not getting into 2c sup hopefully..

Thank you[/quote]Ok, feel free to ask anything when nearer to the phase if you need any help. 🙂

It should be instantaneous as the computers are linked to MOE system.

Yes, once the application is withdrawn in 1 school, it will be reflected in the other school immediately. Do give yourself buffer as the withdrawal process itself might take time due to admin staff being busy or the server being slow. Take note of the journey time needed to get to the other school. Don't get stuck in traffic and miss the registration window.

Going by distance priority, those below 2km are safe.
                        It'll be 13 vying for 12 slots.
