Any advice if there is an appeal channel available for parents wish to appeal if the balloting is unsuccessful?

Either you can choose to attend the balloting session (you will know the results on the spot)...or you can choose to await the snail mail letter that the school will send to you (hopefully before phase 2C(S) starts). Or maybe you can phone and hope they will answer you... -

This year the outcome is ridiculous! So many schools within 1km need to ballot. How much more next year the Dragon year???!
Add buffer to your odds and see whether it's still good. If not, exercise plan B to go to the 2nd preferred school if any. -

Actually it all depends on the school. Im one of the SC <1km that will be balloting 2mr but heard nothing from the school. When I called Huamin Primary today, the staff said balloting is optional for parents to attend. For the record, it will be held at 9.00am at the school hall.
So, I guess, results will only be revealed sometime this week. Onus lies with parents to call the school, provided they are willing to share the details/information with you. -

Who knows maybe the mindset and strategies of the parents will change next year after analysing this year's outcome. To play safe, maybe all or most will consider the not so popular schools. Then the usually hot ones suddenly plenty of vacancies. LOL..tinywings:
