Komi:
I feel the same way too. The thought that if the outcome will only be out on 30 August ( Another THREE weeks). I don't know whether my poor heart can take the anxiety.

My boy went for SJI interview. I hope for some good news...soon...I hope...very soon..would be good.
Hi Komi, my boy also went for the SJI interview last week. I know how you feel! Can't help feeling jumpy when i get calls from unfamiliar numbers, even though SJI did say that communication will be thru emails.

I think we might still have a while to wait since the last day of interview is today. any idea how many boys were shortlisted for the interview? Seems like quite a number. My estimation was maybe 4 boys per time slot? also do you have any idea if the intake through DSA will be 35% instead of the 50% last year.
Anyway, all the best and hope our boys will be able to make it through!
Hi,
I went to check the e-mail and it was stated 6 dates with 7 slots per day. Each slot had 4 boys, so that works out to be around 168 boys. So I know the chances are quite slim but I hope he gets something. I refresh my email like crazy....
Yeah... and if they further reduce their intake from 50% to 35% (if that is indeed MOE's direction), then the chances just get lower.... :scared:

My boy was asked during the interview if he thought that applying for just SJI was a big risk.. he said no. He was confident of getting in!

Your son sounds very confident. I believe he stands a good chance since confidence is a character trait of a good leader.

Hi Anitha,
We are in the same boat. I called NUS high yesterday and was told that since last 3 years all WL have converted to confirm and even after that they had to conduct supplementary intake exercise SIE which is based on PSLE result. The sequence is Confirm offer - waitlist - SIE.
Good luck.

The shortlisting for interviews for Anderson Sec is finally out on the school’s website!

Is anyone aware of the chances of an offer from Anderson if child is shortlisted for interview?

Last year, did all the Wait lists from RGS, manage to convert into Confirmed Offer eventually, or only some ?
