        Cloud Cloud:

Fast forward one year, it does not seem to matter as much...in sec, no one really cares about your PSLE scores.
in secondary 1, nobody cares what your psle scores are. it's history.
once orientation is over after a week or 2, teachers will start at 2nd gear. then students will be busy choosing CCAs.

              Hi Janet & Cloud Cloud,

Yes, both of you are right.

Everyone starts from same starting point during S1.

Some students from Express stream are promoted to IP after S2, Some students from N(A) and N(T) are promoted to Express and N(A) after S1. Some are demoted after S1 or S2.

I believe the sch already have the results. Usually the principal will present the result in slides to parents in hall if I am not wrong. Like what is the passing % kind. If they didn't get it earlier, how will they be able to prepare for the slides.
The p will go Seab to collect result early morning... by 8:30-9am all level Teachers and hods will be in conference room and waiting for p to come back... the Teachers will be very kanjiong looking thru the Long list of results to see how their kids do.... but very rush.. so also won't rmber anything.... then they will put the results in the PowerPoint slides.... so when u go school at 10:30... Teachers already know their results

Oh, so only on the day then can get. So they have to rush thru the slides within 1 hr or so.

I strongly advise parent(s) to accompany their children as they really need mental support.

My DDs' sch announced those students who got 250 or more and they stood up in the hall to receive the cheers they deserved.
All the best to P6 students tomorrow!

Wow 250 above could be a lot of pupils.... to go on stage.
                      ...

                      Depends on which primary school.

In some neighbourhood schools, can be single-digit students scored 250 & above, while in other schools, this can be a double-digit number.

Depends on how much effort the P6 subject Teachers in respective schools had chipped in to \"push\" & to motivate their students to work hard, plus the joint collaborative effort coming from parental guidance support & encouragement received at home.

Parents tonight would have some problems going to sleep…honestly what’s done is already done…I remember losing sleep for weeks. Mum told me there is nothing I can do. Still, I had problems sleeping. After knowing results 2moro, there will be one more hurdle - secondary school posting before the entire primary school education is truly over.

I wish you P6s all the best. Go out for a good meal after collecting the results. You deserve it, your child deserves it.
