My DD's case this year, the top class of the neighbourhood primary school, top 5 out of overall 42 pupils, still got 265-270, the rest puplils most of them are stong in Math and Science, in average got 5-10 lower PSLE score compare to Prelim. 3-4 pupils weak in Math and Sciene but stong in English and Chinese got 5-10 higher PSLE score compare to Prelim. Not sure what happen to other primary schools but I think maybe the same thing happened. Also curious to know why there is no consistancy for the difficulity of the PSLE Math, Science, English, Chinese test.
Hi there, we noticed this trend in my kid’s school. Eg, those usually stronger in maths and science scored lower then those stronger in English and Chinese. Not sure whether other schools experienced that and not sure whether this will ultimately affect COP. Just speaking out my thoughts. Generally my kid’s school did not perform very well overall though it is one of the better pri school in my area. -
Thank you for the sharing of thoughts.
Anyone knows if Anglican touch a lot of christianity in school? We are not Christian but I like the school. It seems a good school with well behaved children. -

you reminded me of such possible situation! Seems TJC is also popular, same level of risk. Let me rethink of it, thanks a lot !
Sorry, yymm03. My sincere apology
2018 Sec 1 MGS : the affliation Cut-off point was not 205, had been raised. -
fable:
Its not a risk so long as you have some choices whose COPs are comfortably within your child's T-scoreXK:
Hi,
Appreciate some kind advice.
With aggregate 239, worth giving the risk to try for a school with cut off 241?
Between Anglican high and commonwealth sec sch, which is a better choice?
Thank you!
But yeah, commonwealth and anglican high are very far apart from each other. What are your considerations?
We stay in the Central. So travelling time is the same for both sch however the distance of walking out daily seems far. -

Hello, Hearsay: our school (Gep centre), the top Mainstream MA+SC class (where the cohort top 10students originate), its Psle average score, continues to out-perform the top Mainstream EL+CL/HCL classes... -

Thank you for reply!
Hi, fren 's kid scores 251, & is not offered too. Hearsay: Y2018 Category 3 3rd Language cut off is 252.sky minecrafter:
Does anyone know what's the cut-off for 3rd language option for Japanese, French and German?
My DS scored 250 but was not offered. So 250 is not TOP 10%.
Does this mean it would be hard for DS to qualify for IP course?
Not a factor, there will be high scorers who opted for o level track as well and many other factors like dsa -
MyPillow:
Crescent Girls also express stream only
CGS also offers only Pure Science for their Sec 3 and 4 classes. CGS girls are generally well behaviour and the teachers are dedicated too. -

My dd is offered 2 options for 3rd Language ... Chinese or Arabic.... posted on 24 Nov 2018 16:07
Hi
Does anyone know what's the cut-off for 3rd language option for Japanese, French and German?
My DS scored 250 but was not offered. So 250 is not TOP 10%.
I am curious as to why my dd is not offered other language choices?
Anybody encountered this now or before?
