      Hi All

Thx for the tips for the different ways to compile and review mistakes? My question is, did your kids do practice papers after Prelims and nearer to PSLE? Taking into considerations that availability of top schools 2019 papers is limited.

And when roughly will 2018 PSLE papers be available for purchase? It was listed in the booklist but they just say its not available.

Our compilation of mistakes is similar but slightly different. Grouped similar mistakes on front page of the past yr paper. Before the exams, go thru to see which are the most commonly repeated & took out some of the relevant ones for revision.

My kid did do papers after prelims. But at that point, it's more just to ensure that the engine is still functioning and not overly relaxed or stressed before the big one. There is a time gap between prelims and the PSLE so some students do take their foot off the pedal too early.

As for the PSLE papers, they should be available in January but since you wont be doing them so early, I'd suggest not buying them first. I got them too early then subsequently the school also bought the same booklets for the students to do. Since these are available almost the entire year, there's no rush to get them so early. After all, some of the topics aren't even covered by Jan/ Feb. You can always get them in May/ June if the school does not intend to buy or let the students do the papers in school.

2018 PSLE papers shld be ready for purchase @ Popular Bookstores now. We were too Kauai & bought ours fr Popular Bookstores at Bras Basah but found that in Jan those sold at school Popular Bookstores were 50% cheaper.

If u’re planning to get 2019 Prelim papers fr top 10 (perceived 10 top schools), you can order fr Jeremyexampapers round abt 1st or 2nd week after Prelim exams. They deliver to yr home. This will depend on parents fr these schools who are willing to contribute their kid’s exam papers fr respective schools & depends on school teachers revising answer keys to Prelim exams.

Are PSLE 2018 papers out? I’ll be curious to know the answers to those science or English or maths questions that were hotly debated in this forum

I think schools will give PSLE 2018 papers to the students, free (for all subjects). Do check with the sch teachers before you buy those booklets.

Hi Is it necessary for parents to buy past year PSLE papers from popular or would the schools provide as practice? Is there 10 year series? Thanks.

Not knowing that the SCH will provide the PSLE papers to all students to practice, I purchased them in beginning of the year. Do check with your SCH. Depending on the subjects and teachers, some will let the students practice beyond past 3 yr papers.
