Looks like last year all applicants in 2C phase in Punggol view got the seat. Sorry ,how are you so confident of SC ballot , any data got published or just the speculation?I am reviewing other options and will withdraw application next week as required.

Last year, Punggol View had 157 applicants for 157 vacancies (all SC). This year, there are only 118 vacancies for Phase 2C (a shortfall of 39 places vs last year). Not to mention, the usual 'competitors' for Punggol View (i.e. < 1km) are also having a shortfall vs last year, e.g. Horizon (-17 places), Oasis (-123), Punggol Cove (-101), Punggol Green (-67), etc. Expect a mad scramble for SC to secure seats before Phase 2CS.

Unless things have drastically changed (p/s: they have not), given the shortfall and you being a PR, your chances don't look good for trying 1 of the 4 popular schools in Punggol. Nonetheless, you can always wait until the last day before you decide.

Different schools, different practice. If u mention which specific school, maybe someone out there in KSP will know (based on this year’s earlier phases).

south view is traditionally <1km balloting with a 2:1 odds.

1. what is your threshold for balloting at south view.
2. For olqp, if it has more than 53 vacancies left at the end of 2C, good chance of SC to go through in 2Cs. (you need some monitoring).

This information will know only if we go to school in person? Please help I want to know if I can get the school I’m looking or not. If not I can apply to other school in 2 C itself.

Call the school to get the stats. Most admins are friendly.

Both are about the same. Boys and Catholic. So maybe look at CCA and see if there are any that interest your son.
