(AR) Access arrangement pupils are given additional 35 minutes after 12pm and everyone can be released at 12.35pm. The pupils who have no AR have to wait for those AR students to be dismissed together.
are your kids release immediately after the papers?
my DD are released 40mins later, she mentioned that there are some Access Arrangements students, so have to wait till they finish the papers, before the schools release all.

For some, tough may mean getting 90 instead of high 90 or full marks. For others, it may mean a difference between passing and failing. So tough or easy is really subjective to what parents/kids expected to score based on their usual performance. Past years, I see parents advising others not to compare answers with other kids so as not to affect their kids’ morale, but come to their own kids’ turn to take Psle this year, the same parent(s) are also v enthusiastic doing so…if the intent is to let kids know their mistakes and learn from them, maybe easier and more accurate way is to wait for 2019 psle booklet to be out end of the year and ask their kid to review the questions which they answered wrong.

Actually for 2018 PSLE, top school COPs remained largely the same if not mostly dropped quite substantially (for example MGS IB, NYGH - ACSI also recorded a drop I recall) -

Don't think it's good to make such speculations that next year's PSLE papers will be tougher than this year. Difficulty of paper is subjective. This forum cannot be a representative for all.

If English and Maths are tough, expect the same for Chinese and Science. Chinese is an important component too as it is 200 marks ! Is it true that Chinese score can affect the overall score? Eg: do badly for Chinese but very well for other subjects. Please share your view.

Don't worry guys! This is after all a T score exam......so everyone's in the same boat regardless of difficulty of paper. Unlike the new system where absolute score matters, now, as long as you ranked with everyone else, it should be fine? Recalling yest's EL paper discussion, I seemed to think that there are maybe 3-4 questions that folks ain't sure about answers. I think that's ok, my gal in 2016 came back with 7-8 wrong answers yet still get A* so do not despair....you only get worried when you are drifting away from the masses in the wrong way.
Also, there are still 2(to 3) more subjects to go - crucial not to affect the kids' confidence/mood. Thankfully, there's the weekend to recharge and prepare too. -

Dd has been scoring consistently high A or A* for Maths and I know when she shared that paper 1 PSLE Maths was tough, it is indeed tough. Take for example, 2018 Nanhua SA2 prelim Maths Paper, the paper was deemed tough as there were challenging questions. Hopefully SEAB moderates the score of all the pupils.

How you know is \"super hard\" this year ? The time now is only 11.31 am. All p6 students are still inside the school hall, still thinking, writing, solving problems, not even 12 noon yet

But don't think invigilator will do such thing, announce to public that questions are tough, right in the middle of a Psle Maths exam ... in progress -
