What do you all recommend for students who need more help with lower sec History?
Most direct way is to tell your child to ask for consult with the teacher -- arrive with a bunch of questions about your worksheets/tests. More practice with writing essays/sbqs, especially learning how to write coherently/clearly

Library resources, teacher consultation and peers support are my child's main pillars. Esp those past year papers for revision.

Are the answers attached? Thanks for sharing.

No answers de.[/quote]Although no answers given,
          can still practise

& thereafter, book personal consultation session(s) with your subject Teachers, arrive with lots of questions to clarify, clear all the doubts that you have, in the process of \"self-directed\" independent learning journey

Are the lower secondary doing political cartoons? Russian history?

Kids who cope better, understand the teacher better, are more likely to take history in upper sec. So maybe check with seniors who do history in upper sec. Borrow their answer sheets to see what good looks like.

Hi any parents feedback to school that the dismissal time for the students should be adjusted during this period, as my kid is taking public transport bus and mrt home, the dismissal time 5-6pm which happens to be the peak hours for the transport system. I hope during this covid period dismissal time should be earlier to avoid travelling with the crowd.

Are you referring to dismissal time after the afternoon CCA and other special programme activities? Normal lessons end by 2pm on most days for the lower sec at least. Or is that not the case for upper sec? Not sure abt JC too.

4pm is quite early for CCA dismissal I thought... my DC ends CCA around 6pm usually. But I do hear that they're either having eCCA or earlier CCA dismissal for the next few weeks.
