She is very honest.
My k2 son had to draw a picture of himself and write a couple of sentences. When I saw the picture in school, it read \"I like Animals\". Once he brought it home, he amended the words to \"I like Animal Kaiser\".
:faint:
He knows the power of half truths- smart boy! -
I was teaching my DS how to pee independently ....
Me: Ok, you need to hold your birdie and make sure that you aim right
DS: yes mummi
(So DS starts to pee)
Me: Make sure you don't let go of your birdie until you have finished peeing
DS: why mummi?
Me: If not you will wet yourself
(DS immediately deliberately lets go of his birdie and of course, he ends up wetting himself)
Me: Look what you have done!:x
DS: Sorry mummi
Me: Your sorry has no value, you did that on purpose isn't it :x
DS: (pulling my t-shirt) No mummi, my sorry got some value mummi ....
Me: :faint: -

I was like *bubble on top of my head* \"huh! how on earth are you able to answer like that.\"
Then, last night as I was putting him to sleep, I was telling him about the virtues of telling the truth always, you know what he did and said - that too with a cheeky smile - he touched one of his tooth and said \"thats my tooth, mummi.\" I almost :faint: again.
To me, it was like he was almost 'punning' on the word \"truth\". Though of course I suppose in his childlike way, he was just being mischievious, oblivious to the reaction he had caused in me.:D -

handsome little man myself!
He
enjoys all the attention he can get.
Time for #2 autumn... :preen: -
DD2 is one super fussy eater. :frustrated:
She can sort all the funny colours in her food portions.
A little chinese celery here or a little pea there...
At times, when dining out she can detect and remove
those small black overfried shallots/onion slices too.
In my frustration, i seem to always be repeating...
\"Will you please stop picking your food and just eat
everything there...\" We were dining out one day,
when i was telling hubs, \"Eww.. check out what's this
browny thingy in there.. looks like a mushroom but it
sooo not a mushroom..\" Yikes.
There was the golden opportunity for DD2... quick as
always.. Without even looking up from her plate,
she said, \"Mummy.. please! Don't pick your food.. stop
being fussy and just eat everything there.. you always
say me.. but oh... ... and gave a very loud exaggerated
sigh. :frustrated:
 mode!
\"It's a herb or some sort that can't be eaten, and you said
i had to be careful of what i eat nowadays (when she catches
me eating snacks she'd lecture it's not good for the baby.. :nunchuk:)
and now you're asking me to down a leaf or stick or something
in my food?\" :faint:
\"Well, how'd a small girl like me know?\"
\"I only know you always say, EAT EVERYTHING. So....\"
