I checked with dd, she told me year 2, one of the question was 一个值得你XX的人 (something like this, cannot remember the exact words). Usually she would not pick this type of question as she finds is not easy to tackle. Not many students would pick this type of question too. Usually the events students described can be not powerful or strong enough to support the 品学兼优 or XX.

What I have heard for last year was, promotion with conditions. They would promote you but some conditions have to be met in the next few months of the next year. Maybe like, you need to show improvement. This was what I heard, not sure how true.

One of the June school holidays assignment, for year 2, must read 水浒传. The school has already asked them to buy this book. There would be a test on this book when school re-open.


I think all levels too right but different levels read different books.

my dd got GPA 3.2 with HMT c6. dat's why i m worry for him as full promotion needs to be b4 mah

probably put hm in xue er you lang open by dr liang wen foo. my dd (now year 5) was under him b4 during her 'o' level preparation. she said it helps as she managed to secure A2 but her result in RV was always C5 or B4. hwever, the schdl was on weekday at 6.15pm, i wonder will it be too tire for ds to attend the class. still lookg for weekend class

Hi Stressy, Thanks for that, I 'll check it out but I dont intend to send dd for weekday class as well. Don't forget they still need to complete their homework after tuition...that is really too tired for them.

Stressy, justsay, did ur children check with e teacher if he/she would be conducting any remedial class for those weak in chinese? I know quite often the teachers would do so on his/her own will or when students make a request (for almost all e subjects). Usually each class has a rep for each subject. Now its time for e rep to do something. Compo - just need to get the techniques right on different type of questions. Ask the teachers, i am sure they can help. JMHO
