Been having leg cramps at night. Sometimes both calves at the same time. Power. No, I don't exercise so can't be due to over-assertion. It can be quite painful. Any remedies? Thanks.

Hi ! I found a wonder way to cure my leg cramps. 😄
          I take Magnesium Tablets ....

This website has information on why magnesium is important to us.
I happen to borrow this book from the library...
The information and the research done by this Doctor in USA is really good...
          http://www.vitalitymagazine.com/the_miracle_of_magnesium

And there is no side effects taking this tablets...

Give it a try ....the tablets are actually very cheap 90 tablets for about SGD11.

Now my daughter who used to have leg cramps after dance practise....do not have leg cramps after taking magnesium.

            ksi:

So I popped by the TCM and this physician did an acupuncture on me and it was the first time I had acupuncture. When she did it, she told me acupuncture would be really fast effect. Being a skeptic, I took her words with a pinch of salt  , as I expected immediate relief but did not get it.

However, the magic happened on my way home....the moment I hit home, the pain was all gone. Actually that was already quite a good speed of recovery considering I had been walking around with the pain for at least 2 days.

As I'm not a fan of needles, I think acupuncture is out for me. When I said traditional oriental remedy, I was hoping that someone can recommend my favourite food leh. Frog legs or pig trotters. Then I got justification to put on more weight. But now I've to do with only bananas

            Haha!
Cramps sure do not affect ur sense of humour.

            tot 4 d day:
The problem is not there are no solutions to the problems its just that there are no that solutions we like ...

            cheers

              markfch,

you are very funny! could it be that you have too much salt in your diet and not drinking enough plain water?

              Ah Bee,

Think pregnant lady got cramps due to poor blood circulation and too much sodium, not because of calcium.

                Augmum,

I suggest you see a doc for this. It may be bone spur (骨刺).

Unlikely. Ever since I was diagnosed with kidney stones, I don't just drink water. I swallow water. Like 2 litres a day. Camel also must kowtow to me on this one.

Help everyone, I been getting a tingly sensation in my legs and hands for a week now. Checked with doctor but they said can’t find out whats wrong with me. Went to see a neurologist and he said it is probably stressed induced cos my reflexes are all okay. But I seriously don’t think I am stressed at this point. At least not to the point of getting this sensation.

Stupid neurologist just gave me muscle relaxants and 10 min with him cost me $156!

                        Anyone had this experience before?

Sorry Mark, to ride on your post.
