YOG in Singapore

way2go, maybe you can consider removing the orgy part of your title. It's not funny leh, I find it kinda insulting. It's our country's honour to host the 1st Youth Olympics, we should all be very proud.


The flame was at ds school this afternoon, complete with 3 mascots, Merly, Lyo and school mascot. All students were dressed in limited edition YOG/school T-shirt and as I dropped him off, I told him that he's so fortunate to be able to witness such a momentous occasion in his school. And, even my dd, would be able to witness it at her school next week.

As for me, I may be able to catch the flame as it pass by our street tomorrow between 1 to 2pm.

I'd urge us all to put aside petty gripes for just a week, put down some of the cynicism and really get behind the young Olympians from home and abroad, for whom this is THE EVENT so far in their young lives and give them something to remember.

When I heard two Chinamen and an Ah apek said it, it really sounded like 'orh gee'. I almost choked on my drink but thot it was funny leh.
Don't mean it to be otherwise.

I think d original meaning doesn't have that x connotation.
I hope d YOG can generate as much excitement.
