Actually I'm rather fed-up of using the iphone ringtones...keeping checking my phone when I hear phone ringing. If only I can use my own ringtone.

You can customised your own ringtone, but not sms tone.

My colleague told me that there is a free Apps called Ringtonemaker which will help u to create ring tone for iPhone4. She has used and said quite easy. I've not tried.

I have since found out that the 12GB data plan for local data is quite hard to finish using it unless you do a lot of movie downloading

Is $39 a month worth it ? I think what you could do is do up a spreadsheet with the various data plan / subscription plan plus the handset cost, average it out over 24 months and see which is most expensive and which is more likely your cost and choose it

For me, I chose M1's $98 / month plan with no equipment cost...which suits my usage pattern...of course bear in mind when overseas : roaming cost is always NOT included in the package

Singtel $39 plan!!

i tried to get free caller ID from them but they refuse to relent..

i was pondering whether to sign $39 (100min) or $56 (300min) and they gave me additional 200min every month for next 24 months FOC if i sign $39 so i will get 100min + 200min (only to Singtel numbers) every month and i'm sold!!

paid $5 for caller ID and $5 for additional 600sms (only to Singtel numbers as well) which i'm ok as most of my friends and DH are Singtel followers..

i hope like what u say i dun exceed my 12gb data.. so far only surf net occasionally, log in facebook check news feeds, play a bit of games and that's it..
