I have mouth ulcers quite often, whenever I'm weak or don't have enough sleep. Sometimes on the side, sometimes underneath the tongue (that's the most painful one for me 😢 ). I tried those mouth gels/cream, gargled with salt water before, but nothing beats the watermelon powder. Sometimes when I'm lucky, I just apply it once before bed, the ulcer is not painful anymore the next day 😄 .

It might be a bit bitter if you spray deep into your throat but it's worth a try. :celebrate:

It interesting, where can i buy this wintermelon powder?

      Those medical hall will have.

The other one you can try is the manuka propollis spray. Think sprays are easier to use for throat ulcers. Cream or gel, before you can reach the ulcer you’ll be gagging oredi.

That aside, too heaty lah, too much mooncakes issit? Go drink some cooling herbal drinks to put that fire out.

Hope that pesky ulcer has subsided by now.

Yes, the ulcer popped up after I gobbled down a big bag of popcorns.

At my age I should really be watching my diet better. 😞 Yes, I agree that spray is definitely more practical as far as deep ulcers are concerned.
Ulcer not as torturing anymore. Thanks for the tips :celebrate:

Just got the Manuka Propollis spray & Difflam lozenges. Took them and effect was immediate. What a relief, phew. But couldn’t find the colostrum pills though.

You can get the colostrum from VitaKids (depends on stock availability).

I had my share of experiences with Ulcers. Very often, I could have multiple ones on various parts of my mouth ( tongue, gum and lips). 'They tortured' me for 1-2 weeks and just when you think the last one is disappearing, a new one comes up! Initially, I thought my body is heaty so tried to cut back on favourite local food like laksa and curry but obviously did not help.

Tried all the above - mouthwash, watermelon powder, oracort. Nothing worked for me! To the extent that I went to see a doctor to scrap off one that was almost the size of a 5 cent coin! No Kidding! (hurt like hell!)

Until hubby cannot tahan my constant complaint. He did some research and figured that my body may be lacking in some minerals. Went to GNC, got a bottle of Lysine and starting to take one everyday. It's been more than half a year since and I only had one episode (with a tiny ulcer that went away in 2-3 days). I am still thankful to hubby 🙂

I can empathy with your pain and inconvenience. Do give it a try, it defintely is a miracle for me.

I got this big nasty ulcer at the back of my throat, making innocuous actions like swallowing saliva feel like eternal torture. The really deadly combination is that the more conscious I am of the pain, the more saliva I have.

It's keeping me awake at night, and its deep down my throat so I can't easily apply any cream at it. Is there any remedy or shall I just have to outlive this stubborn ulcer 😢
I think your ulcer must have been cured by now 😄

Just to share my experiences. I used to have ulcers quite often. Oracort E works very well, but when I had ulcers deep in the throat, there was no way I could apply Oracort there. Difflam is useless too. When I had throat ulcers, I suffered for 1 - 2 weeks, eating porridge for every meal. Clinic doctors only knew how to prescribe the strongest pain killer for me, which did not help much.

Then I discovered that Ling Yang water from the Chinese Medicine Shops worked very well for me. It really helped to shorten the period of suffering, and the ulcers felt a lot less painful. My throat ulcers healed within 2 to 3 days after I took Ling Yang water.

Now, whenever I feel that my throat is starting to hurt, I will drink a bottle of Ling Yang water. I haven't had sore throat or throat ulcers for many years now.
