      Sun_2010:
      Muffins:

maybe it's not the end of the world, but the end of the world, as we know it. Our world, to us, has been clean and green, and smooth sailing, but maybe in 2012, our world will end, AS WE KNOW IT RIGHT NOW), not forever.....

Maybe it will be our minds. I mean, maybe our minds will all receive a piece of knowledge that will CHANGE OUR WORLD forever, and there again comes the point of the as we know it thing.

What do ya guys think??? šŸ˜‰

      This is some thinking... :salute:

Thank God you kids have some exceptional potential :celebrate:
      The world will survive

Thanks Sun_2010! šŸ™‚ Just some food for thought.... šŸ™‚

The funny thing is, we humans keep wondering when the world will end without realizing that WE will end as a species and disappear from the face of the Earth long before it turns into a barren rock or gets swallowed up by the sun. History has shown how time and again, the most successful species of its time will wane and die off, or simply evolve into something completely different. Dinosaurs have not completely died off... they still remain, but as a much more docile species - the birds. With all the genetic engineering, radiation and other stuff that is going on, we should be wondering what we as humans would be evolving into.

My emo girl brought this up a few days ago. Said her frens were all talking about the 2012 end of world stuff. Asked her what did her friends say will happen. She said they all said the whole earth will explode/implode and there will no longer be an earth. Told her then there is nothing to be worried about, cos if that were to happen, no one will be left behind. All of us will be gone. She gave me a disgusted look. Like saying why you this mummy like that one, cannot be bothered. Haha.

I told her further that my worst fear as a mother is for something to happen and I have to leave them behind to fend for themselves and as a wife, is to be left behind to face the rest of my life without my other half. She thought for a while and said yah, I also very scared that you will leave me. So I told her if the whole world were going to go, everyone will be going together so I will not be leaving anyone behind and neither will I be left behind so no fear.

Take it easy.... it is too late to worry now. Many of us are just counting down to the last day and then count down to the result day and then count down to the school posting day and then count down to start of 2011

Hi there, spice up your lazy afternoon with some interesting readings below. Don't take it too seriously, I don't want anyone to start hyperventilating now.......

The ending of the Mayan calendar ( Mayan is an mysterious old civilisation ) is one of the most well known signs of the apocalypse on December 21st Dec 2012. On this very date the Mayan long-count calendar resets itself to 0.0.0.0. and restarts the next day. Thus, it suggests the end of life and rebirth. However, many skeptics argue that the Mayans believed in the beginning of a time of change and tribulation rather than death and destruction. Nevertheless, this sign definitely hints that something would happen on this date.

Coincidentally, one of the most shocking revelations for 2012 involved the I-Ching ę˜“ē» prophecies. These Ancient Chinese predictions show the events of the past and future. Some research seems to indicate that these predictions are accurate for events that have already taken place. Unfortunately one of the events foretold in the I-Ching prophecies is the coming of the Armageddon on December 21st dec 2012.

In additon, a quite a popular program, the \"Web Bot\" is a series of automated bots that search for specific keywords on the internet. On finding these keywords, the program searched for a pattern too. Initially, it was used to predict the movement of shares. Web Bot has correctly predicted the September 11th attacks and the tsunami in 2004. Now it has predicted the Armageddon on December 21st Dec 2012.

We have all sort of predictions in history. When one date passed, another prediction comes.

I bet 1:1000 it is not and I am sure win. If that date is not the last date, I win; if it is, you have no way to collect your win.
