But on the flip side.
Why was the wife nagging and scolding the husband?
Were there far more effective/loving ways for the husband to communicate and/or do what he did than to rile the wife up?
I'm sure all couples started out as super-sayng eachother one.

Spouse first, kids second. Trust me, much better for the family.....

The foundation of a strong family is the relationship between husband and wife. That needs an investment of time and effort. As for the kids, there will never be enough time to do everything you need to do for them. Sometimes clothes will have to be left undried, homework undone, lunch boxes unfilled. Too bad, the brats will live, but if you don't dedicate time to the DW/DH, the relationship won't.
