I told hubby his sister better not come back...bcos I will not want to see her face. Sh!@ called me an idiot when I didn't even do anything :x :x

She better stay in US and don't come back...better still, make her parents stay there for at least 1 year.
Luckily I don't have a SIL (DH's sister). I guess they are like mini MILs 😐

        EXACTLY :x
His sister called the mother and 'reported' what she has seen in my house to her at MY place. Ridiculously brainless and TRULY idiotic.

Actually, my sis-in-law is very nice & good. It's her dh who likes to act \"lao da\" in front of me & dh. Sis-in-law & MIL is scared of him. He got fearsome temper. But, I told MIL I also have very fearsome temper, just don't strike my fire. Dh's BIL likes to act powerful over us. Me & dh dun care abt his *power*. So, his power fails to work on us....heng ah πŸ˜„ Even dh has this advice, *try to avoid going BIL's hse unless necessary* What I dun understand is why MIL keeps pestering us to stay-in-touch with her son-in-law when dh already tells her that dh detest his BIL? :x

my cousin (who was disliked by her step-mum so was kicked out of the house at very very young age) married a good-for-nothing who hit her. my dad and uncle though dislike him (very arrogant and a loser), kept in touch with her and i remember my dad and uncle beating him up after my cousin came to our house badly beaten up.

i think since both sil and mil are scared of the man, and knowing you and your dh are not, you mil might hope that should anything unpleasant happen to sil, at least she can turn to you.

            but i might be wrong.

I really pity you. I went through something like this before. My FIL will act generous by not letting us accept gifts and even made us return the money given by his relatives from Taiwan for my MIL's funeral. :faint: Every amount collected from the funeral was donated to charity while every son had to contribute towards the cost of the funeral.

I just don't understand why these people like to act generous using other's money. If it was their own $$, will they be doing the same thing? They are just a bunch of hypocrites :x

My SILs and MIL are also a bunch of hypocrites.
But one thing I know I'm very lucky is that I don't stay with them, bec if I had, maybe I had already :stupid: liao.

                    Yes, winth.
                    You ARE very lucky!

                    Let's start with this liner.

My IL's UNDER ONE ROOF with us..
                    :faint:
Tell me about it. I move out 4 years ago and back with them becos I sold my place and am waiting for my new place to be ready.

Living with IL's have pros and cons, but given a choice i rather stay on our own.

My MIL is quite irritating,Opps!! I will go to the study after dinner to surf the net or guide my son in his studies...she will pop her head into the room every 5 mins and watch what we are doing. Why does she need to do that :?

Say my DS fat and i restrict his diet, on the other hand..she feeds him supper. I told her off nicely and she got upset. She sometimes drives my DH mad too..

MY FIL is nice man...very understanding. He knows that I am irritated by my MIL and sometimes just tell my MIL to 'let go'. She will get all upset again...shed tears .... πŸ˜›

Not because of the convenience of my boy staying near school and having someone to look after him when I am travelling...i really wouldnt encourage anyone to stay with ILs.

There was once I remembered, me & dh were away in M'sia for a cpl of days, when we came home, MIL told us her dd & SIL came to stay :x :x . See? My hse has bcome a hotel!!! :x :x :x . **Suka suka come, suka suka go** :x :x . & some more enjoy free aircon, free bath & free food! :x...grrr.....grrrrrr...grrr :x

This is rediculous and outright rude. You should just change the lock to your doors immediately πŸ˜›

TOTALLY AGREE!!! Not only lock your main gate and door, next time lock your bedrooms also before you go away. If MIL asks, just tell her that it's for security reasons cos you are afraid there is a break-in and you have lots of valuables in the house. πŸ˜‰
