        hi champion, mumum, welcome!

champion - my #1 and #2 are same level are urs. #3 is 3yo.
        #1 is actually 1 jan 03 bb.

MumMum - wow, really salute u, can still work also. i agree that when maid-less, kids hv a chance to be big bro or sis n to take care of others.
the only thg i dont like is cooking. but i do hope to be maid-less one day. really saves $$

u are really a super mom!

i dont drive myself. maybe shd go for refresher course again.

Ya, my third was unplanned. But now I have 3, I can't imagine just having

            I have 3 kids, 2 girls and 1 boy. I cannot imagine having 4! Having 3 is

already testing the limit of my patience. :frustrated:

Can I adopt one?

Heehee as much as they make me want to tear my hair out, I love having

the 3 of them. I think as they grow up, it would not be so bad..I hope.

How about you? How many kids do you have?

              FNg,

u r right. after having 3 lovely kids, i actually feel proud that i hv more kids than others, esp those wif just 1, haha.

(thats my only indicator of productivity level, haha)

but seriously hvg 3 means a lot of budgeting.
but 3 is fun. when u see the kids playing together, its so much joy.
of cos when they fight, its a chance to teach them how to share n love.
if i only hv 1, my girl will be more self-centred than now i believe.

I am hoping I don’t have to hire external tutors for my kids! DS1 starts P1 next year. I’m going to take no pay leave for a few years when DS3 arrives, so hopefully I’ll be able to tutor them myself. I figure that while I may not be that skilled as a teacher, surely I’m good enough to tutor my primary school kids… (or maybe I have no idea what I’m talking about - check back in a year!)

I also think it’s crazy that many kids have to get tuition even though they are doing well in school just so that they can do just that little bit better (pet peeve - no offence meant to those who hire tutors for your kids). While I understand that their parents want the best for them and want to help them reach their potential, I’m not sure it’s worth the extra stress on the kids and parents! So they score a few points less. I’m fine with that (or maybe I have no idea what I’m talking about - check back in a year!)

My children do not have tuition, except #1 n #2 attended phonics classes, which i think is most impt, hence the decision.

I do not send them for tuition because i gave up my pay chq, so i need to do somethingS useful at home. other then being the driver, the maid, I have to be the tuition teacher too. (a screaming one :stupid: )

My #1 going to P2 next yr, n #2 to K2. Up till now, school work considered good. however I do feel bad that they do not get the chance to go enrichment, do you mummies have this guilt? I feel like i m depriving them a chance to \"learn more\".

I do not recycle assessment books and textbooks, coz when i was young, i simply hated using my sis/bro's hand me down texts haaaa

                      Hellos all....

Im a FTWM with 3 kids too. 🙂

                      Ds1 is 6yrs old.
                      Ds2 is 3 yrs old.
                      DS3 is 2 yrs old.

DS 2 and 3 share the same birthdate - exactly one year apart! 🙂

All goes to Child care - me no maid - so house is not exactly sparkling clean *sheepish grin*

I buy everything in 3s.... They have close to 15 same T-shirts in same designs (sets of 3 x 15) which i make them wear whenever we all go out together! They even have the same pattern of Crocs! 😉

Tough juggling for me now! But i really cannot imagine not having them in my life!

i used to be FTWM with my 3 kids, with a maid. I must say it was tough. I was not able to spend decent time with each kid and at the same time, had to handle my maid…was tough.

Now i get more time with my 3 kids (er hmm…also means more time to bang head n more chance to exercise my vocal). Though no domestic help, i m glad to b maid-issue-free too.

I am happy with current arrangement as I see that my kids are more disciplined and I see results regarding schoolwork.
The only thing that is bugging me is "enrichment classes", I need to be prudent since i m not working. Yet i am not sure if i m indirectly disadvantaging my children.
