We have instilled in the children the practice to clear their plates, cups and

cutlery after every meal / snack since they were able to speak & understand
instructions. When they do forget once in awhile, we do remind them.

Now that we're getting old, i guess they're trying to remind us when we forget. :lol:

DD2 : Ehekhem.. whose cup is this? (In our room)

Hubs : Mine? Why?

DD2 : Why didn't clear, huh, naughty boy..

Hubs : There's still water inside.

DD2 : Then, why didn't you finish it and put it in the sink?
DD2 : What if it topples and spills, huh... huh...

Hubs : Because it is hot water. I'm waiting for it to cool a bit
before i drink it all up with my medicine... i'm not feeling well
so i don't want to drink cold water. Still need me to clear? :x

Just last week during one of our bus trips, ds2 incorrectly pointed out regular cars on the road as 跑车. So I explained to him the difference between 汽车 and 跑车; 汽车 being the regular car that he usually see on the road and 跑车 being a racing car that is much faster.


Yesterday, during our cartrip out for family lunch...
ds2 : daddy drives a 跑汽车.
me : no...remember, i told you.....a 跑车 is a racing car that is very fast. Ours is a 汽车.
ds2 : ours is a 跑汽车; because daddy is a fast driver.
