I have 2 brand new thermal pots from Endo.. 1.8L got as housewarming gifts.. but havent used it yet..

LKVM, you should try it... It's very good. Tried cooking porridge in it, and DH loves it so much! Porridge smells exceptionally good and texture's perfect! He said he's so proud of me for this discovery!... I told him credit goes to 25hourmaid... hahhaa!!

May cook greenbeans or redbeans after I have bought it... I'm sure it will taste yummy! :drool:

Hahaha, ya that's true... Anyway, still... a big :thankyou: to you! I bought it because it's not expensive (with the promo) for me to try if I like it... I have never spent money on expensive pots because I'm not the one cooking in the kitchen... but with this, it got me so excited... :lol: :lol:

Why dun u try making stews, curries or soup with it??? I use it to make mei cai kuo ruo in the morning. Have it for lunch and then heat up again for dinner. Super yummy!
Alternatively, partial cook pasta. Then cook sauce in inner pot, dump in pasta, then put inner pot in outer pot.
For those with another top inner pot. U may cook a stew (or rice), then put fish or egg on the top layer and u can steam fish or egg.

Thermal pot is a gem - that’s one of the best discovery as it can continue cooking as well as keep food warm. I do stews (chicken / pork / beef) with potato and carrot, Throw all ingredients in and add in marinating ingredients and water. Leave it on stove to cook till boiling for about half hour or more before I leave home. Usually leave it in thermal pot for about 6 hours and when we are back home, can enjoy stew for dinner.


Can also do so with the 1.8l pot for kid’s lunch. My friend cooks stew / soup in the inner pot, and steam rice using the top container. Then she puts all in the thermal pot before she leaves for work. Her DS will be home after school and has a hot meal.

Precisely bcos busy, that's why must use thermal pot. No need to watch fire!!!! Cook it the 1st thing in the morning, then piping hot food by lunch time.
I use it either at night b4 sleep for breakfast or morning b4 i leave for work. Much safer then slow cooker i used in the past. B4 dinner, i just heat up 1 more time to make it warmer and to \"kill\" any germs just in case
