yes, chapter 2's challenging practice. i was thinking the ways how to quick to do, E3 found it!Wow, this looks Greek to me. I asked DD if she has done it, and she told me she has done it. I just checked her file and her answer was :
9,3,1,8,4,7,2,6,5
Hmm, first time I'm seeing this question, coz she never asked me how to do it. :?
By the way, are we talking about the same question from page 24 of My Pals?

Ya, she's good. :celebrate:
Nope. I asked this question to my hubby and he solved it very quickly. I told him of our alternative answer and asked him how he managed to come out with his so quickly. He had already tried using a pattern for his answer, applied it on our answer, then confirmed that this pattern worked and tried it out on a few more combinations. Math is fun.

yup happy mama, sama sama, I also face this prob everyday! After homework, it's either too late to do revision or she will b daydreaming n reluctant to do anything more. But as exams appoaching, she is startg to get more motivated. Last nite b4 going to bed, she requested to do a chin paper :)
Sign, my son is so dread of tomorrow's HCL paper that he chose the 'ostrich mentality' - refused to do anything on CL, but other subjects! I gave up and forced him to sleep early .. anyway, don't think 1 more night of doing work on CL is going to make any difference ..Happy Mama:
If there are mistakes, his teacher will know and correct him.
My views too... Yes, she's ok in terms of homework.. the only thing that irritates me is her inability to be driven to study and do revision. -

ya Janet, I agree. Don't get burnt out for CA1. Think of SA1, SA2 n we help to pace our kids. Especially now that we hv to coach 2 at d same time, can be quite siong.
sign .. easier to say than to do it. We dread to imagine if we don't push hard for CA1, then in SA1 he will be like - mummy, how come so much to do! when in fact, there are really MORE topics to revise! I also want to pull hair already .. too bad no such emoticons, so use this - :stupid:
One mummy ever mentioned it's ok to let the child fail for him/her to wake up, but I don't know if I can afford to do that. But on the other hand, I don't want to get burnt out over CA1 when 1 month later I have to plan revision for SA1.janet_lee88:

really contradicting myself. -
Good luck to all your ds and dd in this coming CA1.
Since nothing irritates a parent more than marks lost due to carelessness (certainly for me that's very true), may your kid(s) overcome the careless bug and perform to their potential. :celebrate: -
