Hi parents,
Those who are looking for peanut roots, you can get them from a veg stall in Tiong Bahru. I always get mine from there.
It is the corner stall (on your left if you are facing the stalls) of a long stretch of stalls selling vegetables. The peanut roots look very fresh and only cost $2. -

Is it true that skipping and drink papaya milk help children/teenage grow taller?jojong:
Have been looking for peanut plant lately. Is it not the season now? Remember I used to see it very often in the market when I don't need. Now when I want to buy, I can't find them. Anyone know where I can get it in the North. My daughter (2 years younger than the brother) is almost as tall as my son. So better feed my son peanut soup.
I think girl develop earlier.
My niece grew so much taller than my boy (both same year) when they were in pri sch. My niece was involved in the skipping rope CCA then while my boy lead a relatively sedentary lifestyle.
Now my boy is taller than her as she does not take sports as a CCA while my boy gets more physical exercises. -

I would think exercise definitely stretches the muscles and the child wld grow taller. My cousin used to swim daily during his puberty days, he is now taller than both his parents.

I took tianqi with my brother when we were young. I must say, it does have the effect. I am standing at 1.72m while my brother is 1.8m. My 3 younger sisters who didn’t take tianqi as much as me and my brother, their height range from 1.65 to 1.59m.
Not only did we take the powder form of tianqi, my mum use tianqi to cook soup every week for us to drink. My parents are not very tall, but I am at least 10cm taller than my dad.
My son is P5 this year, so I do use tianqi to cook coup for the family about once in 2 month.
Did heard about the peanut roots too. I have seen with one of my customer’s grandson who grew quite tall after taking peanut roots soup too. -
This is an interesting thread.
I’m 1.81m but my primary school boy is almost the shortest in his class.
He swims, plays basketball and black belt karate.
I do remember I was quite short too until Sec 3 when I started to engage in many different kind of sports. Then I started to grow taller.
This peaunt thingy sounds amusing, maybe I will give it a try.

Can a 2-yr-old toddler drink this peanut soup? Does anyone know if there are any issues?
Tian Qi will have to wait until pri sch.
I know it's a bit KS but she's already in bottom 15-20 percentile in height. Both parents are also short. Just hope she hits average height only

May I know the Chinese name of this peanut plant?
So that we can ask the veggie aunty in the market…
Thanks! -

I don't think there will much problem for a 2 yr old to drink. Just that not sure about how fast or good it will help in growing taller. Like what I also tell my customer, take in moderation not excessive, everything should be alright. Can a 2-yr-old toddler drink this peanut soup? Does anyone know if there are any issues?
