In-law problems?

Heheh.. on the contrary, cwc.. my own mumsie does the rummaging
of the fridge in our house and complain to the children how lazy i am.
Gosh. Puhleez.. i have many other things to do other than just
beautifying and organizing my fridge in alphabetical order
like hers. :politebleah:
Mothers in old days most times quite bo-chap about homework
assistance and what-nots.. that said tho i do have to credit my
mumsie for her hand in some of my project work but still... i
do believe i am busier with the kind of generation our children
are in as compared to the auto-run children we were back then
during their time mothering us... that goes for SAHMs, PTWM &
FTWMs as a whole.

Oh? But it can be a marriage between 2 people and withoutWhy marriage is not between 2 people?
Why others want to interfere?
any interference... that is if... ... all elders are dead
and spouse is the only child. -

Ummm... make that NEVER want to intervene.EatNonStop:
My mil probably regrets selling off her own flat 2 yrs ago cos she always threaten to drop off all her \"current duty\" when my kids get to her nerves or hubby and me didnot meet her housechores expectations......anyway, talk so much oso no use..she stuck in my place since she already crashed with her other son's wife and I stuck with her staying forever in my place. the only way is to mininise and prevent unnecessary conflicts and if it does, SOS hubby for to intervene
But sometimes.. hubbies also dont wanna intervene then how

Wah, opening people's drawers, fridge etc.....really no manners leh. Irritating.
Actually, before my MIL shift in she did that too. She would complain to my DH \"Your wife very lazy and untidy. Her things not properly kept and clothes untidy\" Now that she's with us, initially I found her in my room opening my cupboard still.....seems lesser now. But just not too long ago, my hubby was teasing me about not enough working clothes, immediately she was in my room opening my wardrobe and telling DH there's a lot of unironed clothes hanging over at the other room. ACE [/quote]Sounds very familiar leh

If hubby doesn't step in, then his wife will continue to get jelak jelak with his mother. Men are smart, they won't want to be sandwiched in between. My hubby is one. He cannot handle his mother.
Errr babe.. what's \"jelak-jelak\"? Please enlighten me. :please:
Men are smart?
Mine is not. He just doesn't want to handle his mother.
In fact... He won't handle his mother.
If you guys recall, his mom will always be his number one... well, at least
in my case. Soo... that's already a full stop sentence for me. I can
talk to the hand for any conflicts whatsoever. I had to fend for myself.
In his stance, his mother will never have anything for him to handle.
However, after my girls saw how i was treated by MIL... they were always
ready to stand up for me in any case they see where i may have been
wronged. There was one occasion where we were informed they were
coming when we first shifted into our new place... my DD2 came to me
and whispered, \"Don't worry mom.. i'm here for you.. if anything.. \"I\"
will be here to stand up for you if daddy doesn't.. cause i understand..
Aaaww... :please:
But i told her it's fine and i'm fine.. that she shouldn't need to help me
fight my adult battles. I also don't want her to incur the wrath of her
father for being a little meddler. But still thanks for the thought and
definitely; the understanding.. While she went on to entertain the
guests, she'd gimme a wink once in awhile as if just to gimme that
tinkle that she's around and that she is constantly watching & listening
and yes... looking out for me.
