Advice needed! Feeling cold during swimming lessons

My kids' swim coach also gave them tibits after the lesson! Besides the coach really know how to make his way to let the kids do certain things which my kids didn't dare to when we asked them.

My case, the swim coach will give out either Meiji hello panda biscuit or Oreo cookie after every swim lesson.
I encouraged my son that if he like to have the snacks, he should try to stay throughout the lesson.
No need to force, just encourage will do.
The coach will give it to him anyway if he did not complete the class because he was too cold...this went on for several weeks, he even protested to quit!
Slowly he got used to it. So your children will be fine.

The material for the body is thicker than normal swimsuit, it really does keep my boy warm. I have seen those long sleeves type made of thin material, I don't think those will work.
If your kids are wearing Liferacer and still feel cold, I think you should just move them to early afternoon when the sun is hot. 6pm is too late. -

No I m not using the thermal suit. Mine is normal thin material. I was thought the thermal ones seem quite \"obstructive\" for certain strokes?

6 and 3. But I suspect the pool is extra cold. It's always shaded and very windy. It's so hard to convince DS1 to get in the pool coz he gets cold. I wish I knew what to do!
