Btw (pls allow this proud papa to boast a little, pleeeease), yesterday I realised that besides being good in playing computer games and spending my money, ds is also quite good in playing piano. Yesterday, he played for me 2 classical songs with his eyes closed. :faint:

Maybe he thinks he's Lang Lang, haha. Really chute a lot of pattern which is a form of entertainment for me, I guess. Ok boasting over, now I must get back to reality.
Sorry to interrupt here but markfch :congrats:

aiyo.. with eyes closed still consider \"quite good\" only?? Don't be so humble.

You must have flew to cloud nine!! :boogie:

Makes all your investment worthwhile πŸ˜‰

Yah boy, I couldn't stop clapping. I was shouting 'Encore! Encore!'.

As someone who's crazy over piano music, to hear my only child playing on the instrument daily, it just makes life so worth living for.
          lizhi:
Haha...He is so cute. There are signs that he has a gift for music...hehe.
We will be happy to hear the kids' proud...so the parents dont hesitate to boast. 😎
Gifted I dare not say, but ds sure loves his music. His fav subject in sch is Music lessons cos he gets to 'perform' on a Yamaha piano rather than the tattered one at the open space lobby.

Actually I realised I'm quite out-of-topic. Everyone's talking about SA and here I am, happily harping on what makes my day, everyday. πŸ˜‰

How did you come up with 6 tests PER subject ? I will definitely faint.

I counted. I realised that NYPS doesn't really have CA/SA concept for CL. Instead they have continuous tests to complete for every few chapters covered. This is as far as I can remember (unless my copy is not bone fide. haha).

So still the same - PERI no PERI .. still have to prepare .. cannot relax πŸ˜‰

Playing with eyes closed is a wonderful skill to acquire. It builds confidence and improves the feelings to be exhibited from the piece of music. It's good to play by ear. My dd's piano teacher often asks her to do that too. πŸ˜‰

                  Hi Parents,

I called up school to enquire the dates for SA1...now that May 9 is a public holiday.
Someone in general office told me the school premise may be used for some election/polling venue on May 6 (Friday)...and that school may possibly end at 12pm. Anyway, I'm waiting for the circular to be issued as confirmation.

It would be wonderful if the school can be used for Polling Day, then I wouldn't have to go to Greenwich to vote.
CONFIRMED - Pei Hwa is a Polling Station.
So P1 and P2 .. no school :celebrate:
One more day to prepare for exam.
