          skunk,

can share your bbq pork ribs recipe?

i tried before but the meat taste dry and not tender at all!

I love to bake/grill too, so easy, but do not have the time to do that often - simply lazy i call it. (plus my mil dislike western style :P)

Yeah i like Nigella too, she makes cooking so easy.

i love angmo food…my wife not so, but she has no choice lol whatever i cook she has to eat.

my wfe says Nigella eats more than she cooks lol

            anyway, Skunky’s BBQ Pork Ribs

one rack pork ribs from Giant. It’s around $11. Quite a large amount.
            dried Rosemary leaves.
            Cajun seasoning
            lousy red wine
Heinz BBQ sauce (optional…i find it too sweet, but my wife prefers it).

Marinate pork ribs overnight with all the stuff smeared over it. Use fork and poke holes, so that marinate can go in.

Wrap in aluminium foil. Bake at 200 degrees for 2 hours. Remove foil and bake for another 10 mins or so, so that the fatty parts will be slightly charred and crispy hehe. If u don’t like crispy but like the "smooth" taste, skip the last step.

            Serve with ice cold beer.

what i usually do is a "Pulled Pork Sandwich".

When the BBQ pork ribs have cooled, pull the meat apart (yes, it will be that tender), put inside bread, with some lettuce, honey mustard or BBQ sauce. Super good. No need to go Subway lol

                  kudos to househusband :celebrate:

                  It is definately manly.
DH can clean better than he cooks, say its therapeutic. I love to cook western food too. Not as elaborate as yours, just simple ones like mac & cheese, pizza, pasta, etc. Thanks for sharing your receipes. Its inspiraring me, cos now I can't wait to make the bbq ribs for this weekend's family gathering.
                  :celebrate:

Ah, the dishwasher...... DH cleans while I cook, he would love to hv one of this, but no space for it in our narrow kitchen. Mind you that I m not a messy cook, I clean as I go, he only need to wash plates, cutleries we use and the pot/pan that is holding the finished product.

We hv a furry girl too. She is top rank in our family, sometimes b4 me or DS in the heart of DH. I had to be approved by her b4 my in-laws. I loved her very much too, but DS is first in my heart.

Btw, any tips on sprucing up old boring potato salad?
                        TIA :celebrate:
