Kippletoon,
Phase 2c is not next week. Is the week after. Haha. … you are more kancheong than me.
Yes, there won’t be any affiliation between Kindergarten and Primary. If yes, all the mission schools will be flooded.
markfch,
Lucky, the affiliation between NYGH and NYPS was severed years ago. If not, nothing will be left for 2b and 2c. -
Thanks for all the replies.

markfch:
Hi markfch,
Based on my rusty mental calculation, last yr there was 65 apln (all within 1km) balloting for 43 vacancies.cheerie:
Hi all, I'm registering my chilld in P2C and staying within 1km. May I know how many vacancies in P2C for last year? Meaning sure need to ballot, rite for this year <1km?
At the end of the 1st day of P2A2 yesterday, there were 90 vacancies left. After today when P2A ends, chances are the number of P2C vacancies should be less than last yr's 43. Hopefully not much less.
Thanks so much for ur sharing and statistics.. Truly appreciated!
Then I think me and hubby need to go 'si ma lu' to pray for gd luck for balloting liao. No choice, have to leave it all to fate then!

So 1 decided to drop out in P1..... -
Contrary to what I predicted, looks like all those P2B <2km should be safe. This is one time I'm happy to be proven wrong. :dancing:
The vacancies left for P2B & P2C are exactly the same as in 2010. Talk about good planning! One would have thought with the reduction of one class, things would get worst but fortunately it did not. Phew!
This yr, seems like it's HP & Rulang's turn to stress out the parents. -
markfch:
Not only HPPS & Rulang, there are NYPS, South View, St Nich, Ai Tong, Catholic.....Contrary to what I predicted, looks like all those P2B <2km should be safe. This is one time I'm happy to be proven wrong. :dancing:

bro markfch, are u sure you know 卧虎藏龙? must be getting advice from yr ds, right?I am waiting for brudder php to come in and praise me tis time.
Don't tell me he knows how to 'suan' me only? :scratchhead: -
php/markfch,
Phew! But I think there will be more applicants compared to last yr for phase 2b and 2c. Imagine if there is no reduction in class, there will be 58/59 for the 2 phases. Won’t be so stressful. If maintain at 360, 99% can get in. Hahaha. . . . .too bad too bad.
But the stress is still there cos I am 100% sure that I need to ballot.
For Henry Park cos of reduction in class. If no reduction, not so bad. It was quite bad for PH last yr too with the reduction.
I have been so tensed up with the whole thing till it’s affecting my body. Super sian. … -
php:
I think ds can only read the 2nd & 4th character. If he is so solid, then he'll climb over my head in no time. :nunchuk:

Scary:
I get what you mean, having been thru registration myself. Last yr during P2B registration week, the whole week I was on tenterhooks. Physically in office, but mentally thinking of the registration all the time.
But the stress is still there cos I am 100% sure that I need to ballot.

I recalled for RGPS case last yr, 64 apln for 62 vacancies at P2C. Even though the chance of success is very high, it's still very sian & stressful to know that there'll be balloting. The stress is because at the end of the day, we all wanted to provide what we think is the best for our children.
