errr...i am Singaporean and actually i am supportive of the current policy, as it stands, that already skews the system, such as the balloting bias, towards Singaporeans.

This country was built on the backs of FT. To be xenophobic is to be a hypocrite. On 9 Aug, when u recite the pledge, pay careful attention to the words that all of us hold true to our hearts as Singaporeans.

We need the PRs but I agree that there has to be some differentiation in the priority of treatment between PRs and Singaporeans and as far as balloting is concerned, it is already skewed towards Singaporeans.

tweaked the 2* balloting into additional phases... was tempted to raise this to the Edu Minister but anyone who is looking at this, please take it with a pinch of salt

Err. . we are talking about registration, not balloting. No priority in registration for Singaporeans.

I live within 1km of both Fairfield and Henry Park. Looking at the balloting history I don't even dare to try enrolling my DD in these schools and instead decided to settle for Phase 2A2 but the school is \"far far far away\".

Read from another thread that 14 students in 1-2km balloting for 1 space at NCPS this morning. Feel sorry for parents who have to go through this :gloomy:
