Yes, very very few score below 250. It's CL that pulls some of the kids down, because it's not in the selection process.

Am I right to say that this is mainly for those students who are accpected CO from other school and obtian PSLE T-Socre above the COP and want to appeal to RI/HCI? That mean the students do not have any S1 Posting Form, so that they have to go through such \"appeal\" process to have a 2nd chance to get admitted to RI/HCI?

In this case, I would think it may be better for mainstreamers ,who have good school result, not to try DSA to RI / RGS if they do not have very outstanding proven talent. For HCI/ NYGH I don't think they use such process. imagine when your T-score hit above COP and you still need to go thru GAT....

I too know of a student who had 3A* and 1A who scored high 260. And another who had 4A* and scored 249. It all depends on whether they had high or low A* and A.

Lowest marks for A* is 91/100 so a person who gets 4 A*s can't be scoring t-score 244 only. Which year did they happen? May be when the highest PSLE score that year was less than 269? I have a niece who scored 266 with only 3A* & 1A, I think the highest that year was 28x.

I remember my ds's sch has shared with the parents that one of the geppers score 230. Maybe it's because he has already gotten CO from RI.

yes, we all know that a student with 3A*s (high) and 1A (high) can score higher than 265.. yes, i have no doubt about it.. in fact, he/she can also score higher than a student with 4A*s (low).

the difference between a low A and a high A is 15 marks (75-90) but the difference between a low A* and a high A* is only 9 marks (91-100).. so it is possible for a student with 3 high As (eg. 90) and 1 high A* (eg. 95 above) to obtain a high t-score.. yes, i have no doubt about it too.

similarly surprised too. I know of one who had 3 high A/low A* and 1 low A…already 245 or thereabout. (confirmed low A coz consistently never got A for CL, mostly low B or C!!)

Yeah it's possible to get 100 for math and science, but what is the highest mark possible for English and Chinese ?
