Hi libran269...can't help u as I'm wkin in e east! Can u use ur office small meeting rm for nursing? Maybe u can chk w ur boss or HR?

Hi Nicole, Sadly the meeting rooms are overly booked and checked with HR, although the bank has 2 towers but no nursing rooms. I dont want to do it in washrooms - also they dont have any sockets.

Is there a pantry you can use? Or if you are thick-skinned enough, surrounded by understanding (preferably female) colleagues, and work at your own cubicle, why not consider pumping at your desk? I had friends do that, and I've had to do it when the meeting rooms were fully booked. Just use a shawl, or nursing cover to cover-up, and put your pump into a drawer to mask the sound.

Not ideal, but saves time looking for a place to pump!

DS1 can slp in their rm...but need aircon..me wanna cut costs so I told him cannot on... ....I ask him to slp w us....DS2 still not ready yet...

Libran269... Another way out is u wait till off work n go hm then bf your bb....for my 1st 2 kids...I did that for 6mths or so... sometimes when it was full n hurt... I will go toilet to pump out some to relief the pain.....

Of course, there are other schools of thought, which do not recommend co-sleeping or nursing at night. I didn't feel comfortable with these views. But some of my friends swear by these approaches. I think each family needs to find a path which They are most comfortable with, and be consistent with it.

We practise co-sleeping too. Baby used to sleep in cot but once able to stand upright, he is bawling and trying to climb out of cot every night. Tried out the cry it out method and after three nights when he cried himself hoarse, I gave up. Now I'm used to the co-sleeping arrangement and it's much more convenient for bf. He still wakes up for night feeds though.

Hi. Do you intend to put your kid at an infant care centre? Some infant care centres let breastfeeding mommies express milk at the infant care or feed baby there during lunchtime. Perhaps you can explore these avenues if you intend to put your child at infant care.

Or get a pump that does not need the power point. I use the medela freestyle. I love it!! I walk around the house and do stuff while pumping, cos it is also hands free! Just need to charge it up. And you can pump 3 to 4 times before you need to charge it again.

Any breastfeeding mummies experienced post pregnancy hair fall???

It is happening to me now. Although I had it after my DS1, it was not as bad as now with DS2 although it lasted for almost a year. I spoke to my gynae but was told that it's normal and I should just ride it out. The other suggestion she gave was to take multi-vit with iron.

Any other suggestion would be appreciated.
