Children with dandruff

Your DS still has dandruff? DD too....had it since P5. Her condition has improved somewhat after trying a few remedies recommended by friends/forummers but cannot completely eradicate the problem.
My DS has it on and off kind. Maybe due to stress, the dandruff problem will come back. Thought of trying an organic shampoo (anti dandruff) kind, went to an organic shop just now but can't find any. Maybe I should do what coolit advised, try the tea tree oil on his scalp before he washes his hair with normal shampoo. -

About the tea tree oil, I find that too much usage will make the hair dry so after
a while need to stop. But it really helped my son control his dandruff prob. -

Good to hear at least your DS only has dandruff on/off. Aiyoo, DD's dandruff is a recurring problem. Haha....maybe induced by PSLE stress. :evil:

Hi all,
I just happen to read all these... I think its important to know the cause of the dandruff. some may be due to oily scalp, so if you use like a oil-generated shampoo, then it'll become worse....

DS wash his hair every day n he got dandruff at 7 yrs old. :yikes:My dd also experienced dandruff around that age, so did some of her classmates.
By shampooing almost daily, dd managed to say bye bye to dandruff.

I was used this shampoo when i was 7 year.
But now i have not enough hair in my head.
I think Golden Herbal Shampoo is best for children.
