        Hi

You can try this remedy as advised by chinese physician :
Boil some water with Ginger & black sugar 黑糖 & drink it while hot.

Also to massage the abdominal & back with ointment.

Can try taking hot beverages n applying ointment on her abdominal. A hot pack placed on her abdominal oso helps to relief the pain.

Hi, Is it true that if the mom suffers from menstrual cramp, the girl will most likely suffer from menstrual cramp too? I have a few friends who have experienced this. My dd is going to P6 and menses should be coming soon. I am worried that she has to suffer like what I have been through in the past :-(.

I am thinking of bringing her to see TCM to build up her health so that she suffers less. Anyone has tried this before? Thanks!

I also heard my friends say, like mother, like daughter. I experienced extreme pain during my young days too. But when I check with my mum, she said "last time, hard times, where got time to pain."

                  Hi Shurley,

I have a friend who has the same fate as us in the past. Her sec 2 girl is having very bad cramps now that has affected her school life. Her P5 girl has no menses yet. My dd is worried after hearing my bad experience. 😞 Young girls have lower threhold for pain.

Yes, my DD already ask me whether she can skip school every 1st day of menses next time. Just hope that those important exams won't be falling on all those dates next year :xedfingers: :xedfingers:

Try giving your gal evening primrose. It is suppose to be good for cramps. Can also be treated as health supplements. So it’s like 2 in one.

Think it should work. I apply ru yi yu for myself though. Last time when I was younger (around upper primary but can't remember wat age) n had really bad cramps, my mom gave me 1 panadol n it got better but not sure if it will have other side effects.
