Okie okie, I better qualify that I did not read Tankee's first posting .... and that I am aware how traditional British Fish and Chips are served. Had I not been soooo hasty in posting, I would have realized that Smiths serve Authentic British F and C.

But I still personally like mine with tartar sauce though .....

Whoops! I didn't read Tankee's first post either... or I wouldn't have asked my vinegar question...

I have a thing for anything sour...

The vinegar and salt are found on every table - you need to help yourself to it. You must order the haddock and of course the traditional mushy peas. Go on a Sunday afternoon if you don’t like crowds

          went there yesterday.

learnt that they have expanded. Beside Tanjong Katong, they are now also at Balmoral Plaza and Boat Quay.

Better to eat there. Pack back not as tasty.

Looks like all the fish comes with chips.

Balmoral Plaza is a lot more accessible for me.

Eh… silly question. Do they have cutlery or are you supposed to eat with your fingers?

ta pao the fish will become a bit soggy and they don't provide malt vinegar for ta pao.
