CNY Reunion Dinner...at home and out
-
carebear:
Last year I went to ubin restaurant in joo chiat. It cost slightly less than $30 per pax if you order from the ala carte menu. The food was good. I frequent that place . But you need to go down and place your order n put a deposit.
Thank you so much, carebear. I went to the facebook page, the food looks good. I haven't been there before. Will call them to check if they are opened on eve of CNY. Any other places to recommend? -

They should be opened on the eve like last year. It was full house last year so better hurry. But to be economical, choose ala carte instead of the reunion dinner menu which we did not like cos it is set and you cannot change it. I think other seafood restaurants may also have reunion diinner at a reasonable price provided you do not take the set menu.carebear:

Good choice, I had it for 2 reunion dinners before at changi airport t3. I think by now they should be almost, if not full already as I had to book more than 1 month in advance previously. -
Ramen for reunion ? :scared:
very un-traditional.

Yup, I don't like tradition.Ramen for reunion ? :scared:

People should be free to do what they want, and not be bound by tradition, they should enjoy tradition instead. I grew up in a family where my grandparents placed lots of emphasis on tradition, at the expense of my parents' marriage. -
personally, I prefer to follow some traditions. It is part of what I am and I would like my child to grow up knowing & following them as well.
Following tradition doesnβt mean we canβt be flexible and reach compromises.
