I tried fried salmon and ngoh hiang last nite using the airfryer. Turned out fine. Hubby loved the fried salmon, for a change as we have been eating steam fish most of the time. Washing was easy peasy as I used the aluminium foil so the frying basket not oily at all. Save time, save water! 🙂

Agree!! I didn't even bother to wash the net, I just discard the foil and used a slightly damp cloth to clean the sides of the pan. And while the airfryer is cooking my toufu and seafood roll, I used a pan just to fry vegetables and presto! a meal is ready in slightly less than half hour 🕺

Can fried those soft toufu too? Does it taste the same as those hot plate toufu sold at tze cha stall?

I’ve not tried soft toufu so far, just the firm ones and after frying, its slightly crisp on the skin. I don’t think it can be compared to those that deep fry in hot oil or those in the tze cha stall.

            HI Sakura, Angelight and Linden,

Has anyone of you tried frying fish with batter, like the fish and chips type, with the fryer? If so, how did it turn out?

            TIA!

Haven’t tried the battered fish type, but I tried prawn patties and it turned out very good, very crispy! Yummy, DD loved it!

I must made meat patties today and it was crispy when hot. Crust turned soft at room temp but still acceptable. I used digestive biscuits and it added a nice sweetness to the crust.

hey! i bought it a Harvey Norman for $299. I bought it last week. My colleague told me she saw it at NTUC as well. $299. Check it out if you are interested.

I have used it to fry fries, chicken wings and pizza. The taste is good. Quite happy with the fryer so far.
