      source:-

      http://www.asiaone.com/News/Latest+News/Singapore/Story/A1Story20120126-323957.html

According to a Straits Times report, she is said to have started work at an American multinational software company about six months ago. Prior to this, she was a sales director at a Japanese multinational company and the probe is related to her time at this Japanese firm.

The Straits Times reported that both men admitted they had improper relationships with the woman in question. A latest report stated that she is believed to have had sex with the two.

Former CNB director Ng, who is married, had known the woman for over three years and they are believed to have been close since early 2009.

According to a report in the Lianhe Wanbao, the female IT executive is an attractive divorcee in her 40s, with two children, a boy and a girl, while a report by the Straits Times puts her age at 36, with no mention of her being divorced. The same report has friends and contacts describing her as tall, slim, long-haired and vivacious.

Petite with long hair and big eyes, she is said to have the nickname 'pretty woman', said the Wanbao report.

Wanbao also reported that the woman played the role of a 'middle-man', entertaining clients and accompanying them on golf trips as well as trips overseas.
According to a source, the woman has been divorced from her businessman husband, a Mr Yong, for 10 years.

They reportedly got together when the woman worked in his company when she was still an undergraduate at a local university.

DPM Teo report that the \"case will be investigated fully and thoroughly\":-

\"The Government takes a serious view of public officers who misconduct themselves,\" says Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Minister for Home Affairs and Minister-in-charge of the Civil Service Teo Chee Hean.

His comments come on the back of the the suspensions to the chiefs of Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB).

\"All public officers, regardless of their position or seniority, are expected to uphold the highest standards of integrity and conduct. The Government takes a serious view of public officers who misconduct themselves.

Like wat I told my hubby who always claim its ok to hv close female colleagues or frens: "红颜祸水!"

This saying is to all married person that "hong yan " means close female bosom friend "huo shui" means "troubled waters" its not that we women are trouble ppl BUT if you are married STAY married be faithful…affairs dun mean end up in bed…

I felt very sad for the families and esp the children involved. No wonder in ancient china those adultery couples have to "进猪笼,被水淹!"

Dear parents, already the world is so "off" out there pls pls kp to your promises to your loved ones.

If she was just having extra marital affairs and no biz deals or money involved, she will probably not be hurled to court and no one will ever know her identity; but the 2 chiefs are different, they are civil servants and will be penalised by their companies even if there is no bribery involved.

Even if the woman got off scot free after wrecking other people’s families, her colleagues and even bosses may look at her differently now. It’s hard to respect someone who has no respect for herself.

before any married man or any married woman start contemplate toying fanciful ideas of having secret adultery affair with your fellow colleagues & want to play with fire - better think of the drastic & irreparable, irreversible damage consequences, wound and hurt done to your spouse, your children, family, to your parents and to yourself, your own reputation.

once start play with fire, the flames of fire can lick you up and consume you - to a point of no return where you lose absolute control & can no longer have the strength to put out the fire anymore. don’t play play.

Marriage is a covenant but many think is a contract. A the rate we are going, i am not suprised the divorce rate will reach 40% in just one generation not to mention all the hanky panky extra ccas going on.

Her job scope is like high end social escort in the organisation instead of those in the clubs. Wonder are her KPIs in the organisation? Her new job also this type of job scope?!?

I think newspaper may not post her picture or even real name in the view of \"protecting her young kid from getting hurt\".

I think the point is that if the tender process for this project was compromised as a result of the affair, the two guys would have breached public service rules. If the affair had nothing to do with the contract, then, as far as government procedures and rules are concerned, it wouldn't be considered 'misconduct'.

And, lawyers do correct me if i am wrong, i think angelight is right, as long as money did not change hands, then I don't see what law the woman in question would've broken. (I am not saying she is morally innocent, just stating the legal situation.)
