          CHS P6 to Sec1,

PSLE 2009 and before COP 225
          PSLE 2010 and 2011 COP 230
PSLE 2012 COP 240 (I heard) to in line start of IP?

Non CHS Pri varies, lowest know is 247 which is last year, some years can be 25x.

But given the intake wide range and they can produce the kind of "overall" (not the few individual high sccore type) good result, CHS is really a value added school.

But I can tell you, the foundation that the school puts in their Pri students are really good, even those who goes to other school because they cannot stay did reasonable well in other Sec school

I must say I don't observe this \"value-add\" in my boys though. Their results in the school don't differ much from their results in the actual PSLE. Wah, by that alone, I can conclude that actually CHS' school exam papers are not THAT difficult vis-a-vis PSLE papers. Why everyone clamour to buy, ah?

                Hi,

Are there CHS parents whose sons graduated from Marymount Kindy? Can you share with me how the kindy prepared your boys for primary school and whether you’d sent them for enrichment classes?

I am expecting son to enter CHS under phase 2A1 (but now with upcoming proposed changes to the P1 registration system, any strange thing can happen!).

                Thanks.

                    Hi

I am staying in Tampines and planning to enrol my son to Catholic High for 2013 P1.
I am looking for a student care near the school but can’t seem to find any feedback for Bishan area.
Can any parents provide some comments/feedback on the student care your boy is in / any parents with boys in Joyhouse?

                    Thanks.

                      a) anyone know which CHS web page show past years P1 registration detail breakdown, for phase 1 to 2C ? Thank you.

                      b) if a father’s primary school wasn’t CHS, but Secondary school was CHS, can the son still enter CHS primary under phase 2A ?

You may want to refer to the CHS (Sec) thread. The same query was raised there too, and I remember a parent mentioning 'yes' as answer to your question.
