Any Chinese Physician to recommend? :)
-
Hi.Anyone has good experience in TCM in Jurong Area for Kids.
Both of my kids have sensitive nose at night. Western doctor say they are allergy to weather esp when the weather turns cold.
Thanks for any input -
Hi parents,
My gal is 3yo and she often suffer from nose infection. She often feel itchy in her nose and cannot sleep well at night. We tried to keep the place clean and wash her mattress often but it still persist.
Both me and my hubby have sensitive nose, guess it is somehow inherit. Don like my gal to take western med as it always effective for a short duration and after that the problem will come back.
Anyone have similar experience to share and know any Chinese Physician who we can go to??
Thanx Thanx..

i dont have any chi physician to recommend…
but since its nose irriation, could it be the polluted air and dust mites?
U can try getting an air purifier, i just bought one from Maier. It can kill the virus with the ultraviolent light, traps dust and dustmites, pollen etc… My husband has been sneezing less often in the morning since we bought it… -
Hi,
I am not familar with air purifier. Is it effective to place in room without aircon? -
yes of course! i seldom on the air-con, cos DD is still small and always got runny nose and "cold cough" so doc advise not to switch on air-con.
My air purifier is just next to his bed, so he is breathing fresh air for 12 hrs when sleeping… -
Hi Bowie,
I too have a sensitive nose. My son used to wake up in the mornings with runny nose and he would be rubbing his nose constantly. Brought him to a specialist and was advised to throughly clean the house, put away all stuff toys or anything that collects dust easily. He also provided medication.
The medication was a temporary measure. I too do not like him taking medication unnecessarily.
We contacted a specialist to come and clean all our mattresses and and carpet. The name of the company is \"De Hygenic\". They were v professional and did their job well. They even showed us the dead dustmites that had been turned into powdery form after the cleanup. Aft that, they treated the beddings by spraying something that consisted of orange essence (if my memory serves me right) which was to be a kind of protective seal. We were satisfied with their service and signed a contract with them. We were also advised to wash our bedlinen in warm water in the machine. We also service our air-con a few times a yr.
Since then, my son has been fine. The problem lies with our climate and also the fact that dust accumulates easily. I suggest you assess your immediate surroundings. You may want to consider doing a thorough cleaning, esp your beddings and wiping all surfaces eg table etc.. on a regular basis (for the latter).
On a separate note, I go to Eu Yan San at Paragon. The physician's name is Zhong Xi Ming. She has been attending to me for some other problem. But I was told that she sees kids as well because I am intending to bring my son to see her due to his sensitive skin.
Hope this helps

BTW, could you share about how much each session? I have spent alot on the PD, each visit cost not less than $300
GreenQ:
Hi Jennifer and GreenQ,
So I like this 中华医院 coz the medical service there is good and cheap.. Less than $10 per visit for 1 week medicine... (chief, I am not trying to advertise la...
).
I am also looking for a TCM for my son. Can you help me to understand, GreenQ seem to indicate that it is only $10 per visit but Jennifer's seem much more expensive.
Do they do tuina as well? Thanks in advance!
