      Hi SAHM chew,

      beautifully drawn :).

I am just browsing from office πŸ˜‰ and did not have time to draw it to upload on the forum.

Thanks... i learnt a lot from this forum.. just trying to contribute back to it.

Totally agree with you, I have also learnt a lot in this forum.
Even though my DD1 is in P2 this year..I try to make time to browse questions in higher level subjects to learn myself..

Nothing is same as what we learned previously..so need to upgrade myself before teaching my own daughter πŸ™‚

          Hi

Generally, there are two types of models.

          Part-Whole Model
          Comparison Model

          Best wishes

sorry to bother but I need to know how to draw the box model for Nancy.

Helen had twice as much money as Simon.
Nancy had $120 less than Helen.
The 3 persons had $380 altogether.
                  How much did Simon have?

I know how to draw the box model for both Helen and Simon but stump at Nancy’s box. Can someone help me? Thanks in advance.

                        Hi

I need help with the following question.

A workshop has the same number of cars and motorbikes.
These vehicles have 72 wheels altogether.
                        How mony motorbikes are there?

Other than guess and check, is there any other easy way to attempt this question? MY DD takes for ever with the guess and check method, of course at the end, she can derive the answer.

                        Thank you in advance.
