How do you know to draw Nancy's $120 less for the box in the model is more than 1unit and not smaller than 1unit?[/quote]Actually, i do not know whether to draw it bigger or smaller than 1 unit when i started doing the model. cos $120 can be anywhere. i do the amendment after i get the ans. This is what i teaches my boy too.. to look at the model to make sure that the model is correct after the final ans. But boys..... i am sure he will not check.

this is not from the pastpaper. Its from her school's revision paper( holiday H/W)
My daughter's ans is 5+5+5+5 mine is the 4+4+4+4+4
she is positive and trying to convince me.....she made me :scared:
